Flyers, video Installation, Wells Cathedral

Flyers, shown in Wells Cathedral 2019, follows the rise and fall of trapeze artists practicing on an open air rig. Seen in the arched dome of the Chapter House Stairs, the trapeze rig and surrounding landscape blends with the architecture, and the flying and falling bodies appear at once joyful and tragic in their desire to connect with the sublime.
